One Second

Life is beautiful. Life is quick. Many times, we rush through our days; measuring the big milestones, but rushing past the little moments.

We'd be ridiculous to ignore that those big milestones are created by millions of little moments.

What can happen in one second?

A heart can stop beating.
A glass can break.
A tear can fall.
The phone can ring.
A crash can occur.
A door can slam.
The lights can turn off.
A hug can be given.
A diagnoses can be owned.
A gun can be shot.
A text can be received.
A face can be spotted.
A breath can be released.
A laugh can explode.
A curtain can fall.
A plane can lift.
A picture can be taken.
A friend can be met.
A lie can be spoken.
A fear can be fulfilled.
A paper can be ripped.

Before you're so quick to ignore today for its lack of excitement and action, remember that the next second can hold life-rendering potential.

Seize now.

“Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay everyone for what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."
(Revelation 22)
